About Jyoti
At the intersection
of different worlds.
Being of both Southeast Asian and French descent, I’ve always lived at the intersection of different worlds. This background gave me a deep appreciation for what it means to belong, and how the past echoes through generations. It is a perspective I bring to all my work across theater, film, and webseries.
My mission as an artist is simple: to lift up marginalized voices and tell honest stories. I am frequently cast as women navigating the realities of racism, sexism and repression, and I strive to give these characters the dignity and nuance they deserve. I truly believe that the stage offers a unique magic—a place for deep listening and heartfelt connection. I want to keep collaborating with creators who believe in the power of authentic storytelling to change how we see each other.
